Trauma: EMDR and CPT
Experience relief and healing from trauma with two highly effective therapies: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). CPT, a specialized form of cognitive behavioral therapy, guides patients through a 12-session journey to challenge and reshape unhelpful beliefs stemming from traumatic experiences. EMDR, on the other hand, employs structured therapy sessions, integrating bilateral stimulation to reduce the emotional impact of trauma memories. Both approaches have a proven track record in alleviating symptoms of PTSD and empowering individuals to reclaim their lives.

What is Dovetail?
"Dovetail" originally refers to a type of joint in woodworking where two pieces of material fit together seamlessly, with interlocking angles that create a strong, stable connection. When applied metaphorically, particularly in the context of therapy, "dovetail" can symbolize the harmonious and effective integration of different elements—whether it's the therapeutic techniques used, the relationship between therapist and client, or the alignment of a person’s inner thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
In therapy, a "dovetailing" process might describe how various aspects of a person's experience or therapeutic approaches come together in a supportive, cohesive way. Just as dovetail joints create a strong, lasting bond in woodwork, this metaphor suggests that the therapeutic relationship and process can create a powerful and resilient connection between the individual and their path to healing. It highlights the importance of building trust, understanding, and alignment in therapy, where the individual feels supported and understood, and the various facets of their experience are interwoven to foster growth and resilience.
In essence, a therapeutic process that "dovetails" is one where everything clicks into place, leading to deeper insight and more sustainable change.
